Freddy Rodriguez will start in Ugly Betty’s second season as Giovanni. Giovanni operates the sandwich cart for the Mode offices. He and Betty have similar upbringings and interests. Freddy has appeared on other TV shows such as “Six Feet Under” where he earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He has also been on the TV Shows ER and Scrubs. Freddy should add some flavor and experience to the already talented cast.
Rebecca Romijn got married to Jerry O’Connell known from the TV show “Crossing Jordan.” Rebecca was of course married to John Stamos for a number of years while Jerry has never married. The transsexual on Ugly Betty should be happy with a honeymoon and 11 Emmy nominations!
Ugly Betty showed why it’s one of the best shows on TV by receiving 11 nominations which also includes one for main character America Ferrera as best comedy actress. The comedy about a young woman not fitting in must really hit home for a lot of people. The only better nomination-count went to “The Sopranos” which got 15!
